Portable Outlet stands behind the safety and performance of the PO1600UPSX9 CPAP Battery and Uninterruptible Power Supply. To give customers confidence and peace of mind, Portable Outlet offers the $10,000 Safe CPAP Power Guarantee under the following terms:

1. Eligibility
1.1. This guarantee applies exclusively to purchases of the Portable Outlet Model PO1600UPSX9.
1.2. Customers must provide proof of purchase for the PO1600UPSX9 in order to file a claim.
1.3. The CPAP, Auto CPAP, BiPAP, BiPAP ASV, or BiPAP ST therapy device must be within its reasonable useful life of 60 months (5 years) from the date of its original purchase.
1.4. The therapy device must be new at the time of purchase and must not have been:
• Previously refurbished,
• Previously repaired, or
• Modified in any way.

2. Scope of Guarantee
2.1. Portable Outlet will replace—up to a value of $10,000—any eligible therapy device that is damaged due to the PO1600UPSX9 causing electrical harm or malfunction to the device.
2.2. If the original therapy device model is no longer manufactured, Portable Outlet will replace it with a model of similar make, type, and therapeutic capability.

3. Verification of Damage
3.1. Damage claims must be supported by a formal diagnostic assessment from the therapy device manufacturer’s repair team.
3.2. The assessment must explicitly confirm that:
• The damage occurred due to electrical failure or malfunction caused by the Portable Outlet PO1600UPSX9, and
• The therapy device was otherwise functioning within manufacturer specifications prior to the incident.
3.3. The Portable Outlet unit in question must be returned to Portable Outlet for evaluation, where it will be inspected to verify that it:
• Has not been tampered with,
• Has not been opened, modified, or subjected to misuse, and
• Is the same device associated with the reported incident.

4. Claim Process
4.1. The customer must submit the following to initiate a claim:
• Proof of purchase of the PO1600UPSX9,
• Proof of purchase of the therapy device showing purchase date,
• Repair center documentation verifying cause of damage,
• Serial numbers of both the therapy device and the PO1600UPSX9.
4.2. Once documentation is reviewed and verified, Portable Outlet will authorize replacement of the therapy device with a comparable model.

5. Limitations & Exclusions
5.1. This guarantee does not cover damage caused by:
• Use of incompatible cords, adapters, or accessories not supplied or approved by Portable Outlet,
• Physical abuse, water damage, or accidental damage unrelated to electrical power delivery,
• Devices older than 60 months from original purchase date,
• Devices that were refurbished, repaired, or modified prior to the incident.
5.2. This guarantee applies solely to the therapy device itself—not to software, accessories, or consumable components.

6. Maximum Liability
Portable Outlet’s maximum liability under this guarantee is $10,000 USD, inclusive of diagnostic, repair, or replacement costs. No additional compensation, incidental damages, or consequential damages are covered.

7. Guarantee Duration
This guarantee is valid for the duration of the qualified therapy device’s useful life, up to 60 months, provided all eligibility requirements are met and that the PO1600UPSX9 is used according to manufacturer guidelines.
